New Exhaust, LEAMINGTON.

Here it is on the bike. The old one blew around the header and wouldn't come apart to fit new header rings.
So, crazy luck, a bike breaker who i've been to in 1986, 1994 and now 2011 had one. Bike Bits in Cov.
Made a big difference, still a Motad but really pumps out a chunky pop.
Running really well with the new plugs that were need too.
3000 miles coming up on this oil so a change of that is due too.

Doing about 80 to the gallon around town at the moment.

CBTwoFifty CVThirtyTwo

This was clean and no rust, so it doesn't fit my remit exactly. But it was a motorbike man's minor fantasy, so it fits in very well with that side of things. There would be perverted pleasure from riding this and perverted pleasure from keeping it so clean. Welcome to the blog.

GS250t A3400 A40/M40

Down to London for 8 pounds , two hours and 98 miles each way. Free parking in Russell Square and back out again for 7pm. No problem apart from the main bulb blowing on the M40 when darkness came.

Bodged it with a keyring torch and a bit of wire found in by the side of the road and dimly crept back into hometown.

Top Box Drop Off

The carrier snapped on the top box, shame as although way to big for the bike, being able to put helmet jacket and trousers into it when parked was very useful.

In the meantime, i'm doing it sporty, and i like the look with a bag on the back seat, kind of cowboy.

GS250 CV32

This is how it came to me after swapping it for the CB. Some things were missing but the motor was said to be good. I got it all together but lacked the tricky skills needed on the front brake, fueling and electrics. Rockingham of Southam sorted those. Now runs great.

CB250 CV32

Here is my pride and joy

Never seen rain

Stored in a heated garage

She starts first time on the button

I've had her now for a while

In all that time

She has never let me down

The ride is spot on

Lots of history

Sorry to see her go

Due to illness

Lost my job

I now need the space

Please no timewasters, test pilots or dreamers.

Bike is advertised elsewhere, so reserve the right to cancel auction at anytime.

YOU WIN, YOU PAY

Cash on collection, you will need a van or trailer.

GN250 B1

This old boy's GN is regularly in Colmore Row, parked up facing Birmingham's Cathedral, never showing it's dirty exhaust hole to the House of God. A good rule to live by.

MZ250 M40

This cat was bending his late 80s MZ off onto a slip road from the motorway. He'd kept a steady 70 all the way up from the M25. His boney back was pushing through his sweatshirt and he hunched over a bit, keeping lowish behind his screen.

These are my 250 dreams.
